Stephen Miller High School Clips Prove Some Folks Don’t Ever Grow Up

Almost none of us want reminders of our high school years made public. Then again most of us have some shame, something Stephen Miller, the man at the forefront of Trump’s most draconian immigration policies, appears to be lacking.
On a November 25 episode of Hasan Minhaj’s Netflix series “Patriot Act,” which focused on immigration enforcement, the senior advisor to the president got the origins treatment.
While the segment doesn’t provide much insight into the child separation policy or the DACA negotiation breakdown Miller helped orchestrate, it does reveal a young man completely lacking in self-awareness or self-consciousness, traits that have served him well in his time as a regular cable news surrogate for Trump.
Wanna know how the teenaged Miller prepped for his time on the tennis court? He lets us know the importance of protein, or, “dead meat in your body.” How about his sex life? Don’t worry, he’ll let you know when he meets the “perfect woman.” His famous disappearing hairline also gets a mention and Minhaj even throws in a clip foreshadowing the travel ban. While still a student at Duke, Miller appeared on “Fox and Friends” to promote his pet endeavor, the “Terrorism Awareness Project.” Wait till you see the website: Wayback Machine be praised!
As for the upstart pundit’s political ambitions, Minahj’s team found a clip that almost outdoes the infamous stump speech where Miller decried the injustice of cleaning up after yourself in the lunchroom.
“Every candidate that’s ever been elected has failed to do one important thing,” Miller says in an undated high school campaign speech. “I will say and I will do things that no one on their right mind would say or do.”
A star is born.
