Tel Aviv Restaurants & Bar Guide
One of the best things about Tel Aviv (you know, aside from the weather, beach, hospitality, electric scooters, et cetera, et cetera), is the restaurants. A lot of these restaurants double up as bars, and vice versa, so in this article, we’ll list the best of both. You’ll have a lot of ground to cover, so you better get started…
Listed in order of what you might do at the beginning of your evening all the way to the bar at which you would start the next early morning hours, below are our favorite restaurants and bars in Tel Aviv.

The Old Man and the Sea
If you want a movie-style Mediterranean meal with more salads than your table can even fit, visit the Old Man and the Sea at the Jaffa port. Watch the sunset and stuff your face with… everything. Seriously. They offer so much.
Miznon
If you’re looking for a quick meal that’ll also quickly fill you up, and you have an insatiable hunger for pita, head to Miznon. Steak, eggplant, cauliflower, mushrooms, or eggs, in a pita or on a plate, with a baked potato on the side or green beans or okra – Miznon caters to everyone. (And that’s not even all of it, we just had to end the sentence somewhere.)
Vitrina
Burger heaven. To quote Secret Tel Aviv (because they capture the essence of this place perfectly): “It literally tastes like it’s been cooked by angels… Drown your burger in the purple, beet ketchup (ooohh fancy) and the creamy, garlicy mayo and you’re living like a local on your way to the most satisfying bites of burger you may taste in this burger-wasteland of country.” We’re just going to leave that here.
Patio
Offers a nice pregame if you’ve lost track of time watching the foot-volley game on the beach with your friends. Located right on HaYarkon, you can keep your view of the beach but trade in your seat in the sand for a seat at a bar.
Taqueria
Can you say margarita? Can you say it after three margaritas? Taqueria has a new “flavor of the day” everyday, so make sure to ask the waiter what it is that day and what they recommend. Who are you to argue with them if they give you more than one recommendation?
The Prince
Indoor grunge and outdoor rooftop — this bar is a local favorite. The entrance looks like nothing more than an abandoned building but, just up the stairs, a perfect picture of casual Israeli nightlife awaits you. With food, drinks, good vibes, and some of the coolest waiters, you’ll feel like a prince(ss) — if only for a little while.
Skip ahead a few hours worth of drinks and laughs…
Sputnik
Sputnik is best known for its different areas and scenes, it’s eclectic furniture, and its ability to keep you entertained for hours on end. Want to dance? Head to the back, and good luck. Want to sit at the bar and talk to the bartender? Walk past the curtains to get to the other side of the indoor space. Want to get some air and chill with a beer and a few friends? Grab a seat (quickly) outside and a waiter will be with you shortly.
Kuli Alma
If you’ve made it this far into the night, first of all, congratulations. Now get ready to end your night with half the population of Tel Aviv, run into friends you haven’t seen in years, and have the best alcoholic slushy of your life (spoiler alert: there’s a gummy waiting for you at the bottom).
Breakfast Club
This club is exactly what it sounds like. Let’s just start with the fact that it only opens at 3 am. If it’s one of those nights, this is where you’ll find yourself. We’ll be at home, asleep. But have fun for us, friends!
