Inside The Adam Sandler-Lookalike Facebook Group

Facebook: It’s a chance to keep up with friends and family members scattered across the globe. An opportunity to keep tabs on that person your friend insists is their bashert. And most importantly, a Facebook group dedicated to people who are doppelgängers of Jewish comedian — Adam Sandler.
The growing Facebook group is called “People who sort of look like Adam Sandler but aren’t Adam Sandler.” It’s a public page on the social media platform where, well, where people who sort of look like Adam Sandler but aren’t Adam Sandler can post pictures of themselves.
The group makes good on its name — you could definitely mistake any one of these men for the “Happy Gilmore” star if you stood next to them at the Kiddush table after shabbat services:

And that’s just the cover photo!
Public knowledge of the group exploded after a senior staff writer at BBC North America tweeted about its existence:
(The group has since gained over 3,000 likes)

(Some of the comments think that the person holding the sign looks more like Jason Biggs. Maybe Sandler and Biggs are long-lost brothers?)
Is this good for the Jews? Ours not to say, ours only to marvel over the many, many people who sort-of-look-like-but-aren’t Adam Sandler.
