Ariana Grande And Pete Davidson’s Relationship Is, Predictably, In Flames
All good things must end. And some good things must end in flames.
Pete Davidson was just eviscerated by his former pop-star fiancee Ariana Grande on Twitter, and we have two things to say: we are here for it, and we are not surprised.
Earlier this year, Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson sent the Internet into a tailspin when announcing their shock engagement after dating for a period of weeks. The pair was constantly photographed twined around one another, and in each appearance seemed to be tattooed with more permanent markings of each other’s undying affection. Sadly, their love could not stand the test of ink-longevity. The couple ended their engagement, and in a surprise show of chill-ness, Davidson mocked his and Grande’s union in a Saturday Night Live promo video released on Thursday night.
The comedian had the audacity to turn their relationship into a joke in the promo, which features Pete poking fun at the rush-to-the-altar mentality of his.
The video shows Pete Davidson, Maggie Rogers, and Jonah Hill, the musical guest and host, respectively, of this week’s show, standing together as Pete quips, “Hey Maggie, I’m Pete,” and then adds, “You wanna get married?”
“No,” Maggie sagely tells him, and Pete responds, “0-for-three.”
Firstly: how are we supposed to respect this bleached stringbean of a man now that he has not only been dumped but is also making fun of his relationship?
And secondly: Who is the other woman? Did Pete propose to ex-Cazzie David, progeny of Larry David? It seems more likely, sadly, that Peter is just bad at math.
Ariana was not amused.

Ariana threw back shade on the platform that oft-used to verbally shred ex-boyfriends — Twitter. Although she eventually deleted the tweet, the damage was done. The sharply worded tweet:
best tweet i seen in a while goes out to @ArianaGrande ??? pic.twitter.com/QKFcYDHmpC
