It’s no secret that we at the Schmooze are not fans of Ivanka Trump’s choice to work for an administration that traffics in discrimination, snatches children from their screaming parents, and works to dismantle the very notion of truth.

But to quote from the Yom Kippur vidui prayer, we are not so brazen-faced and stiff-necked as to avoid saying: Dang, Ivanka. You look fantastic.

The very beautiful, likely diabolical first daughter and presidential aide was seen taking her children to Yom Kippur services on Wednesday morning, the Daily Mail reports, in a plump pillbox hat and oversized cat-eye sunglasses, an updated version of Jackie Kennedy’s chicest daywear. The accessories balanced with a fitted midi-cut Oscar de la Renta flare dress, perfectly frum even with deep slit-detailing snaking up her wrists.

We do believe that Theodore and Arabella’s scooters were selected to match the color of her outfit.

Or maybe, the other way around.

Behind them, Jared Kushner and son Joseph walked hand-in-hand in matching suits of deep navy.

All family members wore flats or sneakers. For the sake of their adorable children, we hope they were comfortable. And for the sake of their parents, we hope they were comfortable too — when you have that many things to atone for, it must have been a very long day.
