Gal Gadot’s Rosh Hashanah Greeting

We can think of five-thousand, seven hundred, and seventy-nine reasons we’re grateful for the new year, and Gal Gadot is one of them.

The Israeli superstar graced social media this week with a Rosh Hashanah greeting that walked the fine line between Pinterest-y and rabbinic. Gadot, who is slated to star in the “Wonder Woman” follow-up, the Hedy Lamar mini-series, and a Duane Johnson action-comedy in 5779, wished her fans “Happy Rosh Hashanah!” in a message posted to Twitter and Instagram on Monday. “May we always enjoy the simple things in life, be happy with what we have and respectful to each other,” she captioned a photo of herself by Israeli fashion photographer Dudi Hasson. “May we accept and appreciate those who are different and see the beauty in that..I wish you all a great happy and healthy new year!” she wrote.

And if we may add a paraphrased quote from Diana Prince herself, “May we fight for those who can’t fight for themselves.”
