Ben & Jerry’s is Releasing Cookie Dough Chunks
I am in a committed, loving relationship with two men and I have been for years. Ben and Jerry — they’re highly available and extremely comforting. I’ll gladly consume one of their pints over Haagen Dazs under any circumstance…bonus points to Ben & Jerry’s for their Jewish co-founders, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield! And at risk of being that loser who sticks to run-of-the-mill flavors, their cookie dough ice cream is unbeatable. I’d choose it over every wacky, over the top flavor any day of the week.
There’s something uniquely exquisite about Ben & Jerry’s cookie dough flavor; the luxurious vanilla juxtaposed with their cookie dough tastes so good it must have been crafted by divine intervention.
Join me in my boundless love for Ben & Jerry’s cookie dough flavor by celebrating the brand’s recent announcement regarding an upcoming, new product. The corporation has decided to cater to a recent foodie craze: edible, raw cookie dough. Yeah, you read that right. They are turning their legendary cookie dough into snacks for public consumption. Good thing the summer is ending, right? Winter bod, here we come!
Ben & Jerry’s is releasing these glorious cookie dough chunks (minus the ice cream) in a ½ pound bag in their Vermont shops. The Innovation Manager of the brand explained, “Fans have been asking for ‘just the chunks’ for a while now…we’re bringing cookie dough to our Vermont shops to start. If it does well, it may be available online and in other distribution channels later this year.”
Vermont, dough not let us down.
