Sarah Silverman And Piers Morgan Get Into An Ugly Twitter Feud
Sarah Silverman has called out British journalist Piers Morgan, for shouting at an anti-Trump protester in London in a video that “Good Morning Britain” later posted.
Silverman tweeted: “Shouting your narrative at a guest [because] she has answers that don’t prove your point does not even resemble journalism. What if you listened to her instead? I urge you to wonder what it is you feared would happen if you had let yourself hear what she had to say?”

I suggest you watch the whole 11m interview before giving us the benefit of your limited journalistic expertise, Ms Silverman.
You may not be quite so enamoured of your clueless communist heroine after doing so. https://t.co/4IKNaPlSKw— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 12, 2018
Note Morgan’s comment that Silverman was enamored with a “clueless communist heroine”, to which Silverman shot back, “You invented she’s my heroine even [though] I made zero comments about her, you adorable deflector.”
The fieriness of this dispute is only a microcosm of the drama bound to happen in the coming days, in the midst of Trump’s highly-anticipated UK visit, and we will be watching at the edge of our seats to see how the protests unfold.
