Scarlett Johansson And ‘Infinity War’ Cast Read Really, Really Mean Tweets

As someone who has paid the minimum amount of attention to the “Avengers” movies possible for a professional entertainment writer, I would say that “Avengers: Infinity War” appears to be a $320 million trailer designed to make people sad and confused enough to pay to see the next “Avengers” movie.

So it is refreshing to see the cast of “Infinity War” (why would you watch a movie about a war that goes on into infinity?) reading mean tweets about themselves in the popular segment on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Highlights include Samuel L. Jackson reading a tweet that begins, “And while I’m comparing old men to reptiles…” and a very apt criticism of “Spiderman” actor Tom Holland.
