Instagram Sensation ‘Girl With No Job’ Fired Over Anti-Muslim Mom Pamela Geller

It appears that Instagram sensation, Claudia Oshry Soffer, better known by the social media handle “Girl with No Job”, will have to find a new job.
Soffer has been let go from social media company Oath after the Daily Beast published a piece connecting her to Pamela Geller, infamous anti-Muslim activist and Soffer’s mom.
Despite her efforts to apologize and to distance herself from Geller, Page Six reports Soffer will no longer be hosting “The Morning Breath”, a social media talk show.
Soffer responded to The Daily Beast article with the following statement:
“We want to be clear to our audience and fans that our political and cultural beliefs are not anti-Muslim or anti-anyone. Our views are separate from our mother’s. Being raised by a single parent, we were taught to make our own choices based on our personal beliefs. We are inspired to think for ourselves and we do. We do not condone discrimination or racist beliefs of any kind.”
Unfortunately, following The Daily Beast article, several anti-Muslim tweets published by Soffer when she was 16 resurfaced. Among them, one read “I can’t help but feel like I am funding terrorism whenever I take a cab.”
Soffer apologized for the tweets in an Instagram video, calling herself “a dumb teen.”
