All Three Evan Hansens Made A Disco Music Video To Mark The Passage Of Time

Talk about passing off the baton in style! In the relay race that is life, theater kids have proven once again that only they know how to properly mark the passage of time. And no matter how famous he becomes, make no mistake — Ben Platt is first and foremost (and forever will be) a theater kid.

That is why, when it came to passing on the role of Evan Hansen in “Dear Evan Hansen” (for which he won a Best Actor Tony), Platt had no intention of fading quietly into his next role as actors Noah Galvin and Taylor Trensch took his place. Quiet is not something theater kids do.

They do loud. They do carefully choreographed dance routines performed from a reserve of infinite energy. They do coordinated costumes and complicated storylines. And if they can’t entirely grow a mustache, they do their best.

Please enjoy the consequence of these efforts and then consider the consequences of our government cutting funding for arts programs in public schools:
