Pamela Anderson Is Posting Quotes From Simone Weil’s ‘On The Abolition Of All Political Parties’ To Instagram

“The institutions that regulate the public life of a country always influence the general mentality – such is the prestige of power.” – Simone Weil” – Pamela Anderson”

Simone Weil is a French philosopher, mystic and political activist who declared herself a Bolshevik at the age of 10.

Pamela Anderson holds the record for appearing on the cover of “Playboy” more than any other woman.

Simone Weil was among Pope Paul VI’s greatest influences.

Pamela Anderson was Borat’s love interest in the seminal documentary “Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan.”

But thanks to a tip-off from the New York Review of Books Twitter account, the two women are now inextricably linked in the public imagination.

In the most satisfying twist since the “Picture of the Year” Oscar was ripped from the hands of the “La La Land” director on live television in front of millions of delighted viewers, Pamela Anderson spent her afternoon posting long quotes from the French philosopher:

Reactions from Anderson’s fanbase was mixed. Instagram user croweantonio wrote, “Stay strong Pamela you are awesome” while user billybaha13 wrote, “Drain the swamp.” Others were less certain of where they stood, including user ohnokojo, who wrote, “I’m indecisive about this post” and user notdone_yett, who wrote “I still not see the whole context.”

But skullhunter_biker107plth seemed to speak for all of us with her simple message of just “Pam.”

Is this the beginning of the end of the beginning of feminism? Or is a mind enclosed in language in prison?

Either way, I am here for it.
