‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ Will Return In October After Five Year Hiatus
He left…he did nothing…he returned.
Cue the vaguely Italian clown music—”Curb Your Enthusiasm” is coming.
Living legend/typical bus stop lunatic Larry David returns to HBO on October 1st with the long anticipated 9th season of his show. After a five year hiatus in which it feels safe to assume that the fictional David burned down an orphanage and complained about cellphones, the series will at last resume, starting with a teaser trailer that dropped today.
When “Curb” ended in 2012 Richard Plepler, HBO’s CEO, said that David “essentially has carte blanche with us.” Executive producer and one of the most beloved schmucks of the “Curb” cast, Jeff Garlin, has called the storyline of the new season “rather insane”. And actor J.B. Smoove has confirmed that Larry David is still “not woke.” Season 9 seems set to be as cool-Dad and edgy-Rabbi-friendly as ever.
