You Need to Watch Natalie Portman as a Young Environmental Pop Singer
Yes, there was a time Natalie Portman sang in an environmental pop group called World Patrol Kids. And yes, there is footage of it.
The 35-year-old actress sat down with talk show host James Corden on Wednesday night to discuss her legacy as a 5th grade activist/vocal artist. Her band had 8 members and nailed some pretty high profile gigs, including appearances on Earth day at the United Nations plaza. Song lyrics touched on recycling and appreciating clean air.
“I was really dorky, okay?” Portman said, laughing. “Everyone knows now.”
