‘Yiddish New York’ Puts Out Call to Artists
This year’s Yiddish New York art exhibition will open on December 8 at the Abrazo Interno Gallery in the Clemente Soto Vélez Cultural and Educational Center on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The theme of the exhibition, which will run through December 28, will be “Trees of Life and Evil Eyes — A Contemporary Take on Superstition, Symbols and Mysticism.” The exhibit’s organizers will be accepting submissions for the exhibition through November 7.
