Want to Look Like Ivanka Trump? This Jewish Plastic Surgeon Can Help.
Jenny Stuart only had one goal in mind when she booked an appointment with Houston-based plastic surgeon Dr. Franklin Rose.
She wanted to look like Ivanka Trump.
Stuart had always thought Trump was pretty—but after seeing her out and about during the election cycle, the 36-year-old IT headhunter decided to make moves.
“The things I don’t like about my face, I like about her face,” Stuart said in a phone interview. “With all the political things going on in our country, she’s been in the media a lot recently, and I was like, okay maybe I’ll actually do something about it.”
She’s not the only one.
According to Dr. Rose, more and more of his clients have been requesting that he make them look like Ivanka Trump.
“In the past few months there has been a lot of attention placed on Ivanka’s great beauty,” Rose explained in a phone interview. “They’ve been coming [into my office] with picture after picture of Ivanka.”
He isn’t terribly surprised by the appeal. “She’s poised, she’s elegant, she’s soft-spoken,” he said, adding as an aside: “I’m partial to Ivanka in as much as she’s converted to Judasim.”
Rose, who has been a plastic surgeon for 30 years, is no stranger to the celebrity make-over ask. Popular requests include Angelina Jolie’s lips, Scarlett Johansson’s breasts and Jennifer Lopez’s buttocks. Also Megan Fox, for just about everything.
“People like to look like Megan Fox,” Rose said.
When it comes to Ivanka Trump, the doctor said his patients often just want the overall package.
“They want that whole look,” he said. “The breasts, the high cheekbones.”
Stuart’s surgery package included a Brazilian butt lift, breast implants and injections for her face. The price tag come out to a whopping $30,000.
“The only thing that was nerve-wracking was all the negativity I was getting from my close friends,” she said.
Her 6-year-old daughter Olivia also had her reservations. When Stuart spoke to her about the upcoming procedure, Olivia replied: “I don’t want you to get surgery…I just don’t want you to look different.”
Stuart admitted that she also had her qualms at points. Post-surgery, she was in pain, experiencing swelling and kept hearing the voices of her friends and family going back and forth in her head.
“I felt regretful at first,” she said. “Now that it’s been 6-8 weeks, I feel happy with the results.”
33-year-old Tiffany Taylor, also a patient of Dr. Rose, wanted the Ivanka package too, albeit a much bigger one.
She opted for breast implants, cheek injections, a nose job, eyelid surgery and liposuction on her stomach. The total cost of those surgeries landed somewhere around the $60,000 mark.
Both women said they would consider going back for more.
“[Ivanka] has a nice round face and I have a long oval face that’s hard to just change that with fillers,” Stuart explained. “I’m sure I’ll go back for more at some point.”
Meanwhile, Stuart has already cast her vote early—and she’s on team Clinton.
“[Donald and Ivanka] are two separate people,” she said. “I admire her as a mother, as a business woman. I don’t connote the two people.” Besides, she added, “how you want to look is totally separate from your political views.”
