WATCH: Jerry Seinfeld Gets Thoroughly Roasted on ‘Maya and Marty’ and Loves It
Not everyone is a fan of Jerry Seinfeld, but no one sticks it to the comedian quite like insult-happy celebrity reporter Jiminy Glick.
NBC’s new variety show, “Maya and Marty”, has only been on the air for six weeks but its stars, Maya Rudolph and Martin Short, as Glick, have already given us the funniest Larry David, Drake and Ricky Gervais interviews we have ever seen. You can now add Seinfeld to that list because he was absolutely destroyed by Glick and didn’t even bother to stifle his laughter.
It’s a must watch:
“Jerry from the 90s” first met his match in Glick 15 years ago in this interview, but Tuesday night the two met again and though Seinfeld was armed with quips of his own he was no match to Glick’s passive aggressive contempt.
Seinfeld got in on the action and went on to spoof his own show, the Emmy-nominated “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” with Short playing a superb David impression, Rudolph as the “funny” Khloe Kardashian and Amy Poheler as a homeless woman impregnated by astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson. The whole thing is bizarre and hilarious.
