Man Accused of Jew Hatred by ‘Million Dollar Listing’ Star Jewish Himself
A Jewish “Million Dollar Listing” star got a restraining order against someone he says is a Jew hater — but the man he accused now says he is also Jewish.
Matt Altman is a Los Angeles-based luxury real estate agent and one of the stars of Bravo network’s “Million Dollar Listing,” a reality show that follows real estate agents as they navigate the luxury real estate market, selling properties for their exclusive clients.
Alex KhadaviAltman said dermatologist Alex Khadavi had been threatening him over the phone for years and more recently crashed a private real estate event to threaten his life, allegedly claiming to “hate all Jews.” TMZ reported yesterday that Altman was granted a restraining order against Khadavi and ordered to maintain a distance of 100 yards from Altman and his girlfriend, as well as his brother, Josh Altman and his wife Heather.
A spokesperson for Khadavi contacted the Forward saying the “ridiculous allegations are completely false” and to clarify that the restraining order is only temporary.
“Not only is Alex Jewish, he had a bar Mitzvah!” they wrote, adding, “Alex Khadavi is a very well respected business man and was an invited guest of the real estate reception in which he attended with his contractor, who is Jewish, and his interior decorator, who is gay. A restraining order has not been served.”
