Breaking Babs News: Barbra Streisand Announces Summer Tour and New Album

Barbra Streisand fans, rejoice! The Queen is going on tour and coming out with a new album — her 35th studio album — “Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway.”

The LP will bring Streisand back to her Broadway roots and pair her “with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars to sing Broadway classics,” the press release read.

According to Billboard, Streisand’s manager, Marty Erlichman, announced the 9-stop summer tour that will include a two-night visit to Streisand’s hometown of Brooklyn where we imagine the entire Upper West Side of Manhattan will have collectively relocated for the evening to the Barclay’s Center.

Tickets go on sale May 25, though American Express card members can purchase tickets in the U.S. on May 18-22 and in Toronto on May 19-22.

We’re so excited nothing can rain on our parade!

Here are Streisand’s 2016 tour dates:

August 2 Los Angeles Staples Center

August 4 San Jose SAP Center at San Jose

August 6 Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena

August 9 Chicago United Center

August 11, 13 Brooklyn Barclays Center

August 16 Boston TD Garden

August 18 Washington D.C. Verizon Center

August 20 Philadelphia Wells Fargo Center

August 23 Toronto Air Canada Centre
