No Pants Day Comes To Jerusalem

It was a clash of cultures and generations on Jerusalem’s light rail Sunday as some Israelis took to public transit with something missing: Pants.
No Pants Day has become a tradition of sorts in more than 60 cities around the globe — New York, London, Paris — and Jerusalem residents seemed to gladly jump in.
What makes things strange for those who are not in on the day is that participants, as part of the day’s tradition, are nonchalant about their lack of pants, even when otherwise fully clothed.
