Jewish Stars Shine on the Golden Globes Red Carpet

Television stars mingled with Hollywood’s A-list on the red carpet for the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards, where many of our favorite Jewish stars were nominated for the Hollywood Foreign Press’s highest honor.
White, red and classic black gowns were the theme of the night, with beading and diamonds adding some much-needed sparkle to the red carpet.
Here are some of our most favorite glamorous looks:
Funny lady Amy Schumer was glowing in a classic black and white gown as she arrived to the event with her sister Kim as her date. Schumer is nominated for “Trainwreck” in the lead actress in a comedy or a musical category.
Schumer and BFF, Jennifer Lawrence, were hilarious when they introduced their nominated movies, “Joy” and “Trainwreck” together.
Jeffrey Tambor, a winner last year for his inspiring role as a transgender Jewish father in “Transparent,” is nominated again this year in the same category.

No matter who wins the Golden Globe tonight, the real winner of the red carpet was not even present. Jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz supplied the baubles for all the starlets and was perhaps the most mentioned name on the red carpet. Diamonds really are a girl’s best friend.
