Nathan Fielder’s Holocaust Awareness Windbreakers Are a Hit With Celebs
Sometimes things that start as jokes grow to be legitimate ventures. Cough, Trump, cough.
Same can be said of , comedian Nathan Fielder’s new outerwear company the proceeds of which go toward Holocaust awareness. No, we’re not joking. And neither are the celebrities that have taken a real liking to the quality of Summit Ice windbreakers and agree that the genocide of 6 million Jews is no laughing matter.
So far the company has raised upwards of $45,000 for the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre. Speaking in a news interview, executive director Nina Krieger said: “We were surprised, but the VHEC was grateful to be named as the beneficiary … The absurdity of a clothing company expressing sympathies for a Holocaust denier has been reframed by Nathan as an opportunity to promote awareness and we would hope further learning about the events and lessons of the Holocaust.”
They’re durable, stylish AND educational? They are obviously a bargain at $109.99!
