Broad City is Bringing Jewish Justice to Halloween
I’m dying to see season 3 of “Broad City” set to premiere in February 2016.
But to make the wait a little easier, Abbi and Ilana have been regaling us with little video sketches. You know, so we won’t miss them too much.
The last one was a perfectly Jewy Yom Kippur sketch and their most recent clip, pegged to Halloween, is no less Jewish.
After a rant about sexy Halloween, which they hate — not because it’s too slutty, but rather, too weather inappropriate (preach!) — Ilana and Abbi both surprise each other with their respective costumes: court dresses and frilly jabots. Are these “besties” so synchronized that they bought the same Halloween costume without telling each other?
Well, it turns out Abbi and Ilana will be dressed up as two very different Jewish judges… Watch the clip below:
