Enjoy Fun Lady Science With Megan Amram
I almost failed physics in high school. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out how to hook up a circuit. (I still can’t — and honestly, I still have never faced a situation in which I wished I could.)
If only I’d had to make me see the light (get it?).
The new web-series comes to us via Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls (which, as the name may suggest is an Amy Poehler-led community for young women) and features Jewish lady comedian, Harvard grad and science whiz Megan Amram.
In the first episode, the creator of “Science…For Her” shows us how to make a potato battery clock (for instructions, click here) into a biological potato clock, and chats with Dr. Beverley McKeon, engineer and Aeronautics Professor at Cal Tech.
Check back Monday, August 10, for a new episode featuring Sara Wasserman, PhD. Grab your lab coat and lip gloss and repeat after Megan: Science is sexy.
