Scarlett Johansson, Lupita Nyong’o To Star in "Jungle Book"
Scarlett Johansson better brush up on her Disney trivia.
The actress and SodaStream spokeswoman has been tapped to star in the live action reboot of “The Jungle Book” alongside “Most Beautiful Person in the World,” Lupita Nyong’o, the New York Daily News reports.
Johansson, 29, is being considered for the role of Kaa the python, while Nyong’o, 31, is said to be in final talks to play Rakcha, the mother wolf who adopts Mowgli.
Mowgli has still not been cast but the movie is set for an Oct. 9, 2015 release and will be directed by fellow MOT (member-of-the-tribe) Jon Favreau.
Forget “Let it Go.” It’s going to be all about “Bare Necessities” come fall.
