The Freedom Theatre in Jenin, formerly led by slain actor Juliano Mer Khamis, was raided Tuesday night by Israeli Special Forces. Two people were detained.

In other Jenin news, the Israeli Supreme Court has rejected a suit against a documentary about the Jenin offensive during the Second Intifida. The court did say, however, that while the soldiers who brought the suit were not libeled, the film was “stuffed with things that are not true.”
