Two Israelis Lightly Hurt In Car-Ramming, Assailant Killed
— A car-ramming outside the West Bank settlement of Kiryat Arba, near Hebron, lightly injured two Israelis, in an apparent terror attack.
The assailant, a Palestinian woman, was shot dead by a soldier at the scene Friday.
The two Israeli victims, a couple in their 50s, had pulled over to the side of the road near a bus stop. The assailant’s car hit the victims’ car at a high speed. The couple has been evacuated to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
The incident comes following a months-long wave of hundreds of terror attacks in Israel and the West Bank. Thirty-three Israelis and four foreign nationals have been killed in the attacks, as well as some 200 Palestinians, including attackers. Recently, the pace of the attacks has slowed considerably.
