Donald Trump Set To Meet Sheldon Adelson in Las Vegas

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is set to meet with billionaire Las Vegas casino mogul Sheldon Adelson on Tuesday, Politico reported.

Trump plans to meet with the Republican megadonor who is still uncommitted in the 2016 race, before the Republican debate at Adelson’s Venetian hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.

The web site said neither Trump nor Adelson’s aides provided details about what the two might discuss.

Adelson is expected to meet privately with several Republican candidates gathered for the debate. The Jewish magnate, who is a key pro-Israel hawk, is said to be leaning towards Marco Rubio.

Trump has won little love from Jewish Republican leaders and got a chilly reception at a Republican Jewish Coalition event, where he praised Jews as good negotiators and told them that he didn’t want their money.

Trump, who is a billionaire, has repeatedly declared that he plans to fund his own campaign, but he hasn’t ruled out taking donations from Adelson.
