Neo-Nazis Protest ‘Jewification of Great Britain’ — Jews Protest Right Back

A neo-Nazi rally held in central London was dwarfed by a large counter-demonstration staged by Jewish and anti-racism groups.

About 25 neo-Nazis demonstrated Saturday against “Jewish privilege” and the “Jewification of Great Britain,” in a rally that had been ordered moved by police from the heavily Jewish-populated Golders Green neighborhood of the Barnet borough to central London. They waved Palestinian flags and Confederate flags, as well as White Pride banners. They also had planned to burn Jewish books.

Earlier this year, the neo-Nazis demonstrated in the haredi Orthodox neighborhood of Stamford Hill.

Some 200 police officers secured Saturday’s protest.

There also were about 200 counter-demonstrators chanting anti-Nazi slogans including “Nazi scum off our streets.”
