Flight Ban Delays Baltimore Dad From Reaching Bedside of Wounded Soldier Jordan Low

The father of a wounded Israeli soldier from Baltimore was reportedly delayed from reaching his hospital bedside the suspension of most foreign flights into Israel.
Jeffrey Low was traveling with his son Joshua on a Delta flight from New York to Ben-Gurion when the flight was diverted to Paris on Tuesday, the Baltimore Sun reported.
The paper said the family members were headed to see Joshua’s brother, 19-year-old Jordan Low, who is in intensive care at Beilinson Hospital in Tel Aviv, where he is recovering from smoke inhalation suffered in a rocket attack Sunday during a military operation in northern Gaza.
Not long after, Jeffrey Low was preparing to board a flight on Israeli airline El Al, the report said.
Jordan Low is a Golani sharpshooter who was one of 15 soldiers investigating a suspected Hamas weapons cache in northern Gaza when two rockets struck the building, his father said.
Two Americans with dual Israeli citizenship are among the 29 IDF soldiers killed so far during the Gaza war.
The U.S. Federal Aviation Authority has temporarily prohibited U.S. airlines from using Ben-Gurion International Airport after a rocket fired from Gaza hit a house in Yehud, about a mile from the airport.
