Caleb Jacoby Family Home for Shabbat as Missing Teen Found
The family of Boston Globe columnist Jeff Jacoby held an emotional Shabbat after their missing son, Caleb Jacoby, was found after a weeklong drama.
Candles were lit in the dining room of the home in the Boston suburb of Brookline as the family held a traditional Friday night dinner
“We actually don’t [want to talk],” said Laura Jacoby. “But thank you for asking,”
Jeff Jacoby smiled at the head of the dinner table as friends and family gathered.
The reunion came just hours after 16-year-old Caleb Jacoby was found by police in New York’s Times Square after disappearing on Monday.
Details were still scant about what prompted the disappearance of Caleb Jacoby, an 11th grader at Maimonides School, or what he did during the time he was missing.
The disappearance sparked a massive search that gripped social media for days after Jeff Jacoby took to Twitter to plead for held.
