The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, headquartered in New York City, is the world’s foremost Jewish relief organization. It now operates in more than 70 countries, many of which are home to struggling and diminishing Jewish populations. The JDC has also donated millions of dollars of relief to victims of natural disaster and political conflict.
