WATCH: When Carrie Fisher Was In ‘When Harry Met Sally’
Carrie Fisher, the iconic actress who died on Tuesday, was far more than the role she’s best associated with, Princess Leia of “Star Wars.”
As we commemorate her impressive character as an actress and writer, we’d all do well to look back to her performance in “When Harry Met Sally,” Nora Ephron’s classic rom-com.
In the movie, she plays Marie Fisher, Sally’s older and better-adjusted friend who eventually shacksup with Jess (Bruno Kirby). Despite her supporting role, she gives a firecracker performance that brims with girl-power, romance and get-up-and-go.
Helping the indecisive Sally find a mate, Marie even keeps a Rolodex of available men. Check out some of the clips from Fisher’s time as Marie.
