Trolls Attack Rabbi Left Speechless by ‘Alt-Right’ Leader Richard Spencer

After losing an argument to white nationalist Richard Spencer, Texas A&M Rabbi Matt Rosenberg is now getting mocked on social media platforms.

In addition to Twitter, Rosenberg has also been attacked in comments on YouTube, where video of the exchange was posted by a user named “AR-Viking” under the headline “Richard Spencer destroys a Rabbi asking a ‘Inclusion’ question, Jew refuses to support Diversity.”

“Why doesn’t the Jewman want diversity for Israel?? Is it because he knows blacks are violent dangerous savages and he only wants America white to be harmed by blacks?? How much hate do Jews have in their hearts for whites??_” wrote a commenter identified a “Robert Browning.” “SHUT IT DOWN, OY VEY THE GOLEM WONT LISTEN!” added the commenter “SquidPro.”

Rosenberg declined to comment for this story, blaming his troubles on the Forward’s previous story on the episode. “I’m on the receiving end of hate from the Jewish community and the new-Nazi community because of The Forward,” he wrote in an e-mail. “I don’t really feel like talking right now.”

Spencer, who coined the term “alt-right” and has called for the creation of a white “ethnostate,” appeared on Texas A&M Tuesday night, speaking at an event planned by a former student and that not sanctioned by the university.
