He’s Back: Trump Nemesis Mark Cuban Returns with Clinton Invite to Third Debate

At the first presidential debate, Hillary Clinton succeeded in getting rival Donald Trump to lose his cool. She hopes to repeat the feat at tonight’s third and final debate in Las Vegas — and her campaign thinks that inviting fellow billionaire and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban might do the trick.

Cuban and Trump have a feud that dates to September, when Cuban announced that he supported Clinton and ripped into the Republican nominee’s economic plans. Referring to them as “gibberish,” he offered to give Trump $10 million to argue over them in a debate with him.
At the time, Trump responded to Cuban by mocking the latter’s success as a television star — in the early 2000s, when Trump rode “The Apprentice” to fame, a similar program on ABC hosted by Mark Cuban flopped.
The spat continued into the first debate on September 26, with the Clinton camp inviting Cuban to the event after Trump warned he might seat Bill Clinton’s former mistress Gennifer Flowers in the hall. At the next debate, the Republican nominee brought as guests several other women who had accused Bill Clinton of sexual improprieties.
Last night, Cuban kept up the ribbing on Twitter, with posts mocking Trump’s brand and campaigning ability.
Reacting to new reports that Trump would not put his name on a new hotel, perhaps in response to the negative image his presidential bid has developed, Cuban wrote, “Wow!!! Trump won’t put his name on new hotels. Even he knows his brand is over. Say goodnight Donnie.”
