Rabbi Benzion Klatzko

I met Rabbi Klatzko about four years ago in Phoenix, Arizona, when he was in town giving a class on Judaism to a bunch of us college kids. Before he left, he had us all write down our email so he could create accounts for us on his new website, called Shabbat.com. I never bothered trying to use the site until recently, when I moved to New York and knew no one to go to for Shabbos. Through Shabbat.com I was able to connect to so many incredible people who opened their homes to me and many others. I’ve made friends, and now feel like I truly have connected to the community here. Rabbi Klatzko hosts over 100 people for meals during Shabbat on an average week, and I’ve personally spent three shabbosim at his house. If there were a picture representation of the word in the dictionary; I’m pretty sure Rabbi Klatzko would be next to ”inspirational.”
