Photographic Exposure in Israel

NEWS ITEM: A photographer who is famous for taking pictures of voluntarily nude crowds at sites around the world is planning to bring his shtick to Israel. He will stage the event on the shores of the Dead Sea, where naked masses are expected to attend.

Some photo-takers get their kicks
From snapping naughty nudist pics.
This trend may quickly spread, pell-mell,
To land-of-honey, Israel.

What fun, to see a massive crowd
— Some ill-equipped, some well-endowed —
Exposed and posed, completely bare,
Cavorting in the open air!

But what is here the central point?
Why gaze at naked leg or joint
Or other standard body-parts?
Why showcase raunchy guys and tarts?
In Israel, how can this be,
This yielding to indecency?

Developing such photographs
Might well provide some hearty laughs,
But do we really need to see,
En masse, human anatomy?

Sans clothing, who could tell who’s who?
Who’s Druze? Who’s Arab? Who’s a Jew?
Could an observer, at a glance,
Identify participants?
The answer’s no — there would not be
A clue as to propinquity.

The concept, the approach, is crass,
And destined to create morass!
This mammoth photographic stunt
Would constitute a vile affront!

Religious folk will clench their fist
And vow this shande to resist.
But volunteers for this planned shoot
Are nudniks who don’t give a hoot!
