Zuzanna Radzik, a 28-year-old Catholic theologian whom the Forward first told you about here, is working to make her fellow Poles more aware of their country’s Jewish history. “We bring history to children in towns and villages who have never met a Jew or seen a synagogue,” Radzik told NBC. “When we show them where the ghetto was in their town and that Jews were killed there, it all becomes real.”


Singer-songwriter Jill Sobule, best known for her 1995 hit “I Kissed a Girl,” has written original music for a new production of “Yentl,” premiering at the Asolo Rep Theatre in Sarasota, Fla.
