2 New Kosher Restaurants Opening On The Jersey Shore
The Jersey Shore isn’t exactly the most Jewish place. Unlike the boardwalk on Miami Beach, or Cleveland, Ohio, the Jersey Shore is known for its pizza joints and salt water taffy than its kosher diners.
But in Deal, New Jersey, a summer resort town popular in the Syrian Jewish community, new kosher restaurants keep cropping up.
According to the kosher restaurant blog Yeah That’s Kosher revealed, Sage Fine Dining is about to set up shop. It’s all about ‘great homestyle kosher dairy cooking,’ as per their website, which seems to mean things like penne a la vodka and sage gnocchi.
If being fancy and eating with utensils isn’t your bag, there’s also Sage Express, a kosher grab ‘n go joint nearby, where you can purchase a personal pizza to wolf down in your car while crying on the way home from work. The two restaurants are under the kosher supervision of JSOR.
