Gal Gadot Tries Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups For The First Time — And It’s Adorable

Last Thursday night, Gal Gadot made a pre-SNL appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” After she and Fallon talked about her major motion picture success and her upcoming first appearance on SNL, the conversation turned to more pressing matters: chocolate. Specifically, types of chocolate that each had never tasted before and would try in front of millions of viewers.
First, Fallon pulled out a bar of Israeli chocolate from the Israeli brand Elite. “Oh you got it! The shocolat parah (chocolate cow)” Gadot said with obvious glee. Fallon struggled to pronounce parah, sounding like, well, a goy trying to pronounce anything in Hebrew, with the end result somewhere between a speech impediment and a Spanish accent. Embedded in the chocolate was, according to Gadot, “what do you say…exploding candies?” (which is just her adorable, non-native-English speaker way of saying Pop Rocks).
After saying “cheers,” (with Gadot saying “l’chaim” because, duh), they both took a bite and leaned into the microphone to amplify the sound of the popping candies.

Fallon became an instant fan and said the Israeli chocolate treat was “fun, I like this.”
Not wanting to be outdone, he said he heard a rumor that Gadot had never tried Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. With a mischievous smile, she answered that she hadn’t. Fallon then pulled out a package of the popular candy and said, “I can’t wait to see what happens.”
Gadot, in our humble opinion the most likable actress who ever acted, replied, “magic will happen.”
Fallon was so excited by the prospect of introducing Gadot to the beloved treat that he said he felt “like Willy Wonka.”
Gadot, apparently, loves peanut butter, but had never tried it with chocolate. Which boggles the mind really — how could any self-respecting chocolate and peanut butter lover spend his or her entire life not putting two and two together to realize that chocolate and peanut butter are a match made in candy heaven? Apparently, if you’re Gal Gadot and too busy being Wonder Woman, daughter of Zeus, an introduction to such earthly pleasures requires a stunt-loving late night host. But I digress.
Gadot carefully unwrapped the peanut butter cups, declaring, “Oh my god, now I’m nervous!” (Have we mentioned that we think she’s the cutest actress ever?)

She then tried the chocolate and peanut treat, closing her eyes in appreciation as she chewed. She enjoyed it so much, that when Fallon asked her what she thought, she couldn’t even respond, giving a simple thumbs up sign. When she could finally speak again she said, “That was really good. I can’t believe I never tried it!”
