Tomas Kalika’s become an unlikely star in Buenos Aires, where he mashes up Ashkenazi and Argentine cuisines at Mishiguene, his acclaimed restaurant.
Laura Catena is the fourth-generation winemaker leading the historic Bodega Catena Zapata in Mendoza, Argentina. (She is also a physician.)

For two nights, the pair will collaborate on a food and wine happening that sounds truly “mishiguene” at Chefs Club, the SoHo eatery that hosts a rotating cast of guest chefs.
The menu hasn’t been previewed, but the idea’s irresistible. It’ll set you back $110/person, and you can buy tickets here.

It’s a kosher “back to the future” in Brookline, Massachusetts, where Vittorio Hassan is opening a kosher pizza place in the same spot where he operated one until 2003. Vittorio’s Kosher Grill will be the 2016 version of Vittorio’s Kosher Pizza, which Hassan ran for eight years.
