70-Layer Blini Tower at Mile End Deli
Meet New York’s most outrageous brunch offering, courtesy of Noah and Rae Bernamoff’s .
It’s a 70-layer blini tower, and AMNY reports that it takes 30 minutes just to compile it, which doesn’t count the time it takes a prep cook to make each of the 35 blini that comprise its structure.)
Inside each layer: a mishmash of sour cream, scallions, chives, pickled fennel and onions, two types of pickles, smoked salmon, whitefish salad, smoked and peppered mackerel, hard-boiled eggs, smoked sable, bacon, red onions, dill and ikura (salmon caviar).
Mile End plans to offer just one each weekend — and only at the Brooklyn location.
