17-year-old Palestinian killed, six wounded in clashes with IDF at West Bank refugee camp

A Palestinian teen was shot dead and six others were wounded during clashes with the Israeli army on Monday morning in the area of Jericho.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the victim of the clashes at Aqabat Jabr refugee camp in the West Bank is 17-year-old Muhammed Eldaa.
Witnesses say that the Israel Defense Forces conducted arrest raids in the refugee camp, leading to violent clashes between the two sides. Eldaa was wounded during these clashes, while three others sustained moderate to minor wounds.
Additionally, witnesses say the Israeli army arrested two individuals in the refugee camp.
17 people were arrested in the West Bank during an overnight operation, according to the IDF. In the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, three people were arrested following an exchange of fire. Later, the Israeli military confiscated the arm that was used to fire at their forces.
The IDF added that more clashes took place in other locations throughout the West Bank, where Palestinians “burned tires, set off fireworks and shot at soldiers, who responded by shooting.”
Later on Monday morning, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported that a 20-year-old is critically wounded after being shot by the IDF near Bethlehem.
Last week, A Palestinian was killed by Israeli military fire during an operation in the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp in the West Bank. Earlier in April, a 15-year-old Palestinian was shot dead by the Israeli army in Aqbat Jabr during the Israeli army’s operation to arrest suspects involved in terrorist activity.
