Oklahoma woman shot after trying to steal man’s Nazi flag

An Oklahoma man was arrested last month after being accused of shooting a woman who tried to steal one of the many Nazi flags he flies on his property, NBC News reported.
Alexander John Feaster has been charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon and shooting with intent to kill. Authorities in Hunter, a town of 165 residents in northern Oklahoma, say they discovered 26-year-old Kyndal McVey lying in a ditch after having been shot between three and five times.
According to an affidavit, security cameras at Feaster’s home indicated that McVey, who had been attending a party nearby, ran onto his property to pull one of his Nazi flags down. Feaster, who was sitting in a chair on his porch at the time, allegedly fired on her using an AR rifle without warning as she was running away.
Garfield County Sheriff Jody Helm said last week that he wasn’t sure whether McVey was acting out of political convictions or on a dare. “There’s conflicting information,” he said.
Feaster is reportedly locally infamous for his Nazi flag collection.
“I know the whole town doesn’t like him,” Helm told NBC.
A GoFundMe set up to pay for McVey’s medical expenses said last week that she was in stable condition and out of intensive care.
If convicted, Feaster could face life in prison.
