Man Pleads Guilty To Anti-Semitic Harassment, Only Fined $25
A British man pleaded guilty to harassing a Jewish activist at a pro-Israel demonstration, but his only punishment was to was a fine of £21, or about $25, Jewish News reported.
Last month, Bahar Arar cursed at Simon Cobbs, one of the Jewish demonstrators, in the southern city of Brighton. He could be heard calling Cobbs a “Jewish prick” and spewing profanity. Police arrived to arrest him.
Brighton Magistrates Court fined him £21, and he left with a two-year conditional discharge.
