Rosanne Barr Invited To Give Anti-BDS Speech At Israeli Knesset

Actress Roseanne Barr will visit the Israeli Knesset in late January to speak out against the boycott, divest and sanctions movement.

Barr, a pro-Israel activist, is set to tour Israel with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, founder of the World Values Network. She reportedly was invited to speak at the Knesset by Deputy Speaker Yechiel Hilik Bar and will go January 30.

The BDS campaign promotes boycotting Israel and its products until the country removes settlements from the West Bank.

Rabbi Boteach is one of Barr’s more ardent defenders. After she came under fire for a racist tweet, which led to her losing her TV show, he said she had a “big heart” and went through the four stages of Maimonidean repentance that are core to Jewish “teshuvah.”
