Stephen Miller Denounced By His Uncle Over Immigration Policy, Family History

White House senior advisor Stephen Miller’s uncle has once again condemned his nephew, but this time in a much more public form: by writing an op-ed for Politico.
David Glosser, whose sister Miriam Glosser Miller is Stephen Miller’s mother, rehashed the immigration history of his family, which he claims wouldn’t exist today had the strict policies Miller staunchly advocates for been in place when they arrived in the U.S., fleeing persecution.
Glosser wrote that their family fled anti-Jewish pogroms in Belarus in the early 20th century. They went on to own a chain of supermarkets that employed thousands.
“I have watched with dismay and increasing horror as my nephew, who is an educated man and well aware of his heritage, has become the architect of immigration policies that repudiate the very foundation of our family’s life in this country,” Glosser said.
If his family hadn’t escaped to America, Glosser wrote, they likely would have been murdered by the Nazis.
“I would encourage Stephen to ask himself if the chanting, torch-bearing Nazis of Charlottesville, whose support his boss seems to court so cavalierly, do not envision a similar fate for him,” he said.
In June, Glosser re-posted a lengthy comment he wrote for the local newspaper in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, in October 2016. “With all familial affection I wish Stephen career success and personal happiness, however I cannot endorse his political preferences,” he wrote. The status was liked by four other members of the Glosser family.
Later that month, it also was found that Miller’s great-grandfather failed his naturalization test the first time around.
