Trump On Rosenstein: We Have A Great Relationship
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who oversees Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe, has an unlikely new work colleague: President Trump.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Trump said the pair have a “great relationship.”
“It’s fantastic,” Trump told The Wall Street Journal when a spokesman was asked about the two’s rapport. “We have a great relationship. Make sure you tell them that.”
While the two have had a tumultuous relationship in the past — Trump has repeatedly flirted with firing Rosenstein and Rosenstein reportedly threatened to quit over former FBI Director James Comey’s firing — the two now reportedly talk at least once or twice a week, and Rosenstein visits the White House several times a week.
Rosenstein “personally approved” the raids on Michael Cohen’s home, office, and hotel, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The two might still butt heads over the Mueller probe; Trump has repeatedly criticized it, calling it a “witch hunt.” For now, though, Rosenstein and Trump seem to be on far more solid ground than when Trump was lobbing insults at him and Mueller over Twitter.
Much of the bad blood with Russia is caused by the Fake & Corrupt Russia Investigation, headed up by the all Democrat loyalists, or people that worked for Obama. Mueller is most conflicted of all (except Rosenstein who signed FISA & Comey letter). No Collusion, so they go crazy!

A statement from a Justice Department spokeswoman on behalf of Rosenstein said the pair has a “productive working relationship.” But The Wall Street Journal says that in private, Rosenstein has joked to friends that he wakes up unsure if he is still employed, although he has no serious qualms over his own job security.
