Roseanne Says ‘I Love All People’ In First Statement Since Tweet Scandal

Roseanne Barr was seen in public for the first time on Thursday, following her recent scandal, the Daily Mail reported.
The 65-year-old was reportedly seen walking on a street in Utah, smoking a cigarette and engaged in a phone conversation. When approached by a Daily Mail reporter, Barr only replied “I believe in one law for all people. I love all people. Have a nice day.”
Barr kept walking and did not engage in any questions that the reporter asked her, such as “do you think your career has taken a big hit?” and “are you gonna stay on Twitter?”
Barr’s sitcom was cancelled by ABC Entertainment earlier in the week following her tweet which suggested that former White House adviser Valerie Jarrett, who is African-American, was descended from apes.
The actress, who initially said she was quitting Twitter, quickly resumed activity on the platform. She tweeted that her racist comment was the fault of sleep medication Ambien.
