Is Trump Confident In Rod Rosenstein? ‘Next Question’
During a press conference with South Korean President Moon Jae-in, a reporter asked President Trump whether he was confident in Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. The president refused to answer, Talking Points Memo reported.
“Next question?” Trump reportedly responded as he pivoted in his chair. As a second reporter began asking a different question, Trump returned to the previous one. “Excuse me, I have the President of South Korea here and he doesn’t want to hear these questions, if you don’t mind,” he said.
Trump has reportedly considered firing Rosenstein in the past. Rosenstein oversees special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.
